MILEHAM’s Founding Director and Principal Architect, James Pilcher, has over 10 years’ property development experience, developing projects ranging from standalone new homes for private investment portfolios, to large scale residential real estate developments and childcare centres for larger developers. He heads up all property developments which come through MILEHAM.
James and his team work closely with our clients, external consultants, finance and equity partners, and local councils to ensure the right fundamentals are in place to deliver the most effective and efficient use of a site to meet market demand, ensure a healthy project cashflow and, ultimately, maximise return on investment.

Our development team provide guidance throughout the project planning phase, including coordinating the consultant team, managing and executing design and development concepts, and timeline and budget management to ensure the project is delivered according to the set project goals.

We manage all the necessary approvals and requirements, including planning permission, environmental impact assessments and building permits, to ensure each project meets all regulatory requirements.

We provide onsite management of the construction phase, including coordinating subcontractors, managing construction schedules, and ensuring that the project is built to the highest quality standards and NCC requirements.
